We pride ourselves on integrity, accuracy, and commitment to excellence. We’re currently seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supervising junior staff, and supporting audits and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND AS, IFRS, or US GAAP)
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare GST, TDS, and income tax filings
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
- Supervise junior accountants and provide mentorship and training
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and auditors as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred or in progress)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems like SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to financial audits or statutory audits
- Familiarity with automation tools or digital reporting platforms
- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
